Contact Lenses

See the world differently

Contact lenses are a vital part of everyday life for millions of people worldwide. Many of our customers require lenses for a whole range of work and social situations – so we know how important it is to get the right advice. And thanks to our years of experience and the huge changes in contact lens technology in recent years, it's easier than ever to make sure you have the lenses that are just right for you. Our contact lens service includes:

  • Gas permeable, bifocal and specialist lenses
  • Multifocal, toric and myopia control soft contact lenses
  • Disposable lenses for daily or social wear
  • Contact lens fitting and after care with free trial pair
  • Discount on spectacles for contact lens wearers

Most optometrists will send you a reminder when your next appointment is due. However, if you have a problem with your vision or your eyes before your next eye examination is due do not wait – contact the practice and make an appointment.

Daily Disposable Lenses

Contact lenses intended to be worn during waking hours and cleaned and disinfected each time they are removed from the eye.

Monthly Disposable Lenses

These are a type of daily-wear, reusable soft lens that can be worn every day over the course of a month.

Insertion, Removal & Aftercare

After initial examination and measurements, trial lenses are used to show how comfortable they are and determine the best fit for your eyes.
You will be shown how to insert and remove the lenses and how to look after them. Most lenses fitted now are thrown away at the end of each day and therefore don’t need cleaning.
Regular aftercare is advised to check the health of the front of the eye and check the continued suitability of the lenses.
